Special meeting of CAPE members: petition and complaints before the National Executive Committee.
Some members have filed complaints against certain CAPE leaders and members pursuant to article 20 of the Constitution. In accordance with its Constitution and Bylaws, CAPE has triggered the process for responding to such complaints.
As for a petition focused directly on the president, article 32 of our constitution mandates that all members be called to a special general meeting. This meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 16, 2016, in the Victoria North Room of the Ottawa Marriott Hotel at 100 Kent Street.
Given the nature of these allegations and of the confidential or private nature of certain alleged facts, we cannot provide you any more information at this time. Only CAPE members are entitled to this information; the purpose of the special general meeting is to provide you with all of the details that can be shared on this matter.
