Password-protected web pages now live

As previously communicated, today is the designated day for you to change your password on our portal to access our new member-exclusive (aka gated) web pages. 


Starting today, your current password used for the portal will no longer work.

Why restrict access to some pages?

Restricting access to certain web pages to members only serves crucial purposes in safeguarding privacy and minimizing cyber threats. 

By requiring membership, we ensure that sensitive information remains accessible only to those with legitimate reasons, thus reducing the risk of unauthorized data breaches or cyberattacks. This approach enhances overall security measures and fosters a trusted online environment where personal and confidential data are better protected against potential threats and misuse.

Pages requiring password protection will encompass meeting minutes, bargaining updates, member resources, and any containing member information such as phone numbers and email addresses.

Soon, only registered members will have access to new content under these categories.

Changing your password:

To change your password, simply follow the password reset steps on the portal.

  1. Select “Sign in here” on the portal. (https://acep-cape-portal.microsoftcrmportals.com/en-US/)
  2. Click “Forgot Password” to initiate the process or skip directly to that page using the following link: Reset Password
  3. On the next page, enter your email address and select “Send verification code”.
  4. Enter the verification code that you received, select “Verify code”, and then “Continue”.
  5. Finally, enter the password of your choice and select “Continue”.
  6. You will be redirected to the login page and you can now use your new password for the portal and the gated pages.
    • If you do not receive a verification code, please check your junk folder. If you still did not receive a code after 12 hours, please contact membership@acep-cape.ca.
