As a follow up to our Membership Budget Meeting held on June 28, this message contains important information regarding the budget process, as well as specific information regarding the proposed CAPE Budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for members to have input into the budgetary process, so please take some time to review the information provided, including the Budget Document, the Budget Description, and Questions and Answers from the recent Membership Budget Meeting.
The complete Budget and Audited Financial Statement will be presented at our Annual General Meeting in December. In the meantime, we encourage all CAPE Members to review the relevant budget information, and to provide the Finance Committee with any comments, concerns, and suggestions.
We ask that you provide your input on the Budget by sending an email to budget2018@acep-cape.ca, no later than September 21, 2018. This will ensure that your Finance Committee will have ample time to review the input and feedback received from the general membership.
Input from the Membership is vital to the budgetary process – this is your opportunity to take part in that process.
As required by our Constitution, the vote on the Budget will take place in the days immediately following the Annual General Meeting.
