Lily Spek (she/her) is a Policy Analyst and Free Agent at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) with 10+ years of experience working across the Government of Canada. Before joining the federal public service, she worked for two provinces and one municipality. She got her start in the federal government via NRCan’s Policy Analyst Recruitment and Development Program (PARDP). From there she moved to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) to work in strategic policy.

Since early 2019, Lily has worked remotely from her home north of Toronto, winning awards, and adding a regional perspective to almost a decade of policy experience working in the National Capital Region. Lily is also a public servant with several invisible disabilities. She prioritizes evidence-based policy, equity and accessibility, reconciliation, and improving working conditions for all employees.
