September greetings from the CAPE Communications team!
We hope you have had a great summer, and let’s hope this nice weather sticks around for a little while longer. Seriously…summer isn’t officially over yet!
As we get set to settle back into our normal routines, we at CAPE Headquarters are embarking on new initiatives to help serve you better.
CAPE’s Communications Team is working hard on a busy fall schedule, and it all leads to our Annual General Meeting in early December!
We are here to help you, and we want your input and feedback!
How to get involved
It’s really quite simple.
- Have you considered becoming a Steward?
- How about joining one of your Local Executive, or one of the many CAPE sub-committees?
Now here’s a good example of excellent member involvement - we’ve had great response to our call for volunteers on the Analytical Working Group, who’s mandate is to help CAPE better respond to Members’ concerns.
But it doesn’t end there!
You could take part in the:
- Audit Committee
- Constitution and Bylaw Committee
- The Elections and Resolutions Committee
The list goes on! All are excellent opportunities to help shape CAPE policy.
CAPE is always looking for member volunteers to take part in various committees – and you are certainly invited to take part!
Our goal is to improve your union experience, and we need your help to make that happen. So…let’s talk!
