From November 12 to November 25, pursuant to CAPE’s Constitution and Bylaws, all members in good standing were asked to vote on:
- the resolutions being put forward
- to approve the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 fiscal year budgets
- to approve the Association’s financial statements for 2019-2020
- to approve the renewal of the auditing firm that will be auditing the Association’s 2020-2021 financial statements.
- EC, LOP, OPBO and RCMP civilian members in good standing were also invited to vote on their choice of Vice-President.

23.3 Meetings of the Local Leadership Council shall be called at least twice once a year.

Question 7
I support that the Canadian Association of Professional Employees add the following Articles to its Constitution:
37. VICE-PRESIDENTS REMUNERATION
37.1 The Association accepts for its Vice-Presidents a remuneration in the form of an honorarium of $1000 per month.
37.2 The Association will pay its Vice-Presidents acting pay for periods of 3 days or more commensurate to the President’s salary as indicated in the Constitution when acting for the President.
The current Article 37 shall be renumbered as Article 38.
* The Constitution (29.6) shall only be amended by a two-thirds majority of the votes cast.
