Volunteer for one of CAPE’s pay equity advisory committees

Are you passionate about fairness and social justice? Do you want to learn more about pay equity and help your colleagues? We may be looking for you!

We are currently looking for members of the core public administration and RCMP CMs who would like to volunteer for CAPE’s RCMP-CM pay equity advisory committee and for CAPE’s core public administration pay equity advisory committee. These roles would work with union staff to provide, when required, feedback on job evaluations in their workplace as well as compensation elements. They may also advise the president on pay equity issues.

Ideally, these pay equity advisory committees would be comprised of at least 50 per cent women and various backgrounds, including regional representation, departments, levels, and experience. Training will be provided. This will be a time commitment but you will be on paid leave to participate and prepare for these meetings. If you are interested in being considered, please complete the following form by May 22, 2024:
