As we wind down a busy year, all of us at CAPE want to wish you the very best this holiday season.
We are grateful to all of you who got involved in organizing your union in 2024. Your passion and leadership have demonstrated how strong we truly are. While the new year is often said to bring new beginnings, we know that we must be ready to continue to fight on the issues that matter to us.
Together, we are ready to do that. We must be ready to defend ourselves and our hard-won gains against anti-worker governments – which, as I’ve said many times, means you connecting with your coworkers to fight back.
This holiday season, take a much-deserved break, celebrate your wins this year, and come back refreshed and ready to fight in the New Year.
Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of your coworkers and on behalf of Canadians. It has been an honour to represent you this year.
