“Strength in Adaptability”
Tuesday, November 10, at 5:30 p.m.
via Zoom and teleconference.
Interpretation and sign language services will be available.
The theme of our AGM this year is “Strength in Adaptability”, chosen to reflect the agility you, our members, demonstrated in the last year. Your ability to very quickly adjust to your new work environment created overnight by an unprecedented public health crisis is testament to your remarkable adaptability.
The COVID-19 pandemic turned our lives upside down, and despite it all you stayed focused on the task at hand to keep our country moving and stable. This resulted in helping millions of Canadians get through the crisis and supporting our policy and decision-makers as they were forced to rethink our way of life across the country.
Being adaptable has never been as important as today, and you are all an example to follow.
The AGM will be an opportunity to look back on the challenges and successes of the year, and to recognize the incredible work of all our members and volunteers.

A different AGM this year
Our AGM this year will be entirely virtual to comply with public health guidelines in a time of pandemic. We hope you will join us in great numbers and participate actively.
As usual, the AGM will include a year review from the president. It will also cover the budget and our financial audits and provide an update on members’ resolutions and on the national election.
Send us your questions!
To best manage the challenge of holding a virtual meeting using multiple communications channels, questions sent days in advance of the meeting at general@acep-cape.ca will be given priority. Please indicate AGM 2020 Question in the subject line.
Questions will be taken from the floor during the AGM by using the same address, and we will do our best to go through them in real time, if time permits.
The AGM will also go over general matters, including the President's Review, the budget and the presentation of resolutions. Join us in great numbers and take part in the discussions!
