The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), with the support of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), has planned a rally on Parliament Hill to push the government to enact good anti-scab legislation.
The demonstration is on Tuesday, September 19th and starts at 11:30 am.
We invite you to join CAPE on the Hill to make our voice heard. We will be there to hand out CAPE t-shirts, buttons and flags to our members to make it clear that the Association supports the push for federal anti-scab legislation that would hand power back to workers across the country.
Please note that if you plan to join the rally, you must make arrangements with your supervisor to take an early lunch or time off. You cannot participate in union activities during work hours.
