We are excited to invite you to a fully virtual townhall to discuss deeming with CAPE’s President, Scott Crawford. This event will take place on December 14, 2023, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm EST.
All members participating in virtual meetings where interpretation services are provided must use an approved headset, or you will not be able to speak.

Online participants who wish to speak must:
- turn on their camera when speaking
- have a headset with a built-in mic and wired USB connection
Earbuds or wireless headsets are not approved for speaking due to the health and safety risks the sound can pose to the interpreters. Please see the attached guidelines from the Translation Bureau on approved headsets.
CAPE, the technicians, and the interpreters reserve the right to cut off microphones or not interpret should the sound not be of adequate quality in order to protect the health and safety of interpreters.
Finally, we ask that you join the session 15 minutes early to have sound checks performed with our technicians to ensure that we respect the health and safety requirements of our interpreters.
