Hello CAPE members! I am honoured to be an EC director on CAPE’s National Executive Committee. Along with many of my colleagues, I am deeply committed to building a stronger union with a mobilized membership and organized locals in the workplace. I am committed to working with other unions in the public service to maximize our leverage and effectively defend our collective interests. I also look forward to showing solidarity with other organizations supporting progressive social change.
Originally from Montreal, I have been working in the public service for a little over thirteen years and am now a manager. I have taken on multiple roles in CAPE over the years, including Local President, Vice-President, and Director of Education. I was previously on the National Executive Committee (2014-2017), during which time I established a national education committee that I chaired for several years.
I have a PhD in political science and am the proud father of a thirteen-year-old girl who has filled my life with joy and meaning. I look forward to working with you all!
